A Hands-On Demonstration of a Vital Tool for Early Lung Cancer Detection

Description

Join us for a hands-on demonstration of navigational bronchoscopy—a vital tool for early lung cancer detection. According to the American Lung Association’s 2025 State of Lung Cancer Report, only 18.2% of high-risk individuals who qualify for a low-dose CT scan are screened, with Iowa’s rate below the national average. Early diagnosis and treatment can help prevent lung cancer from becoming more deadly than all other cancers combined.

What to Expect:

  • Learn about lung cancer screenings and the technology behind navigational bronchoscopy.
  • Try out the ION simulator and explore a lung firsthand.
  • Discover how early detection saves lives and how you can help improve screening rates in our community.

This event is open to all—whether you’re a healthcare professional, patient, or community member interested in learning more about lung cancer prevention and the latest diagnostic technology.
