Description

Presented by Johnne Syverson, CFP®, AEP®, CAP®, Executive Director of Charitable Giving Resource Center.

Have you created an estate plan—or is it time to revisit one you completed years ago? Join us for a presentation designed to help retirees understand the planning involved in creating or updating an estate and ensuring their wishes are carried out. This session will provide a practical, high-level overview of estate planning, including ways to protect your family, support the causes you care about, and leave a meaningful legacy. Attendees will learn about common charitable giving options, including will bequests, beneficiary designations, and charitable gift annuities, as well as important considerations when transferring assets to family members or charitable organizations. Whether you are just beginning the estate planning process or reviewing an existing plan, this presentation will offer valuable ideas and questions to discuss with your attorney,  financial advisor, or other professional advisors.
