New Employee Resources

We know it sounds cliche, but we are so glad that you are here. We also know that starting a new job, especially at an organization as large as this one, can be a bit intimidating. This page is meant to be a resource for some of those things that maybe get glossed over in orientation - all things you didn't know you needed to know.

As a new employee you bring a fresh set of eyes to the organization, so as you're looking through this site - let us know if there's something you have a question about that can't be found on this page. We all learned at a very young age that there's no such thing as a stupid question - and in this case, your question may even prompt an edit to this webpage. Not bad for a new employee!

Payday

Employees at Mary Greeley are paid every other Tuesday. That same day is also Taco Bar in the cafeteria. So if you forget one of those things, the other will remind you.

Cafeteria

Our cafeteria is located on the second floor of medical center and is kind of amazing. Every day the offerings change, but there is always pizza, burgers, grilled cheese and chicken sandwiches. And maybe most importantly, every other Tuesday is Taco Bar. It is NOT a coincidence that this also aligns with payday.

The Gram

The hospital's weekly newsletter comes out every Monday morning. An email is sent out once a new version has been uploaded. This email also contains the link for the Gram. It is THE source of all things Mary Greeley.

PRO TIP: The link for the Gram (www.mgmc.org/gram) actually never changes and can be accessed 24/7/365 from anywhere.

The Mary Greeley Apparel Store

Oh yes. We have swag. And the first two-ish weeks of the month, that swag can be yours. Scrubs, sweatshirts, bags, dri-fit shirts, pullovers - if it's apparel, chances are we carry it. Orders can be placed via the website below and those orders are typically delivered at the beginning of the next month. (Example: If you placed an order between May 1-17, it will be delivered around June 1). Orders are delivered to Community Relations - an email is sent to those who ordered with additional pick-up details. The point here is that you don't have to pay for shipping. Yay!

If you have questions regarding apparel, you can reach out to our Internal Communications Specialist, Stephanie Marsau.
