Process for Testing at Story County's Test Iowa Clinic

Anyone desiring a test must first take the online Test Iowa assessment. The assessment is available at www.testiowa.com. After doing the assessment and qualifying for a test, choose “Additional Options” in the first listing of Test Iowa locations, then choose “Local Clinics.” The Story County Test Iowa Clinic will be in this listing.

You will be provided a QR code that you will need to bring to your appointment at the Test Iowa Clinic. To schedule an appointment after qualifying for a test, call 800-866-3492. You must have an appointment to be tested at the Story County Test Iowa Clinic.

The Story County Test Iowa Clinic, which is managed by Mary Greeley Medical Center, is at the ISU Research Park, 2503 S. Loop Dr. It will be a drive-through clinic.

We realize some people don’t drive or have their own personal transportation and may have to “walk up” to the clinic. This is perfectly acceptable but please remember that you must qualify for a test via the Test Iowa website (testiowa.com), have an appointment and come to the clinic with the QR code provided by the Test Iowa website. There will be a chair in the tent area where people who don’t drive to the clinic are tested.

Several organizations have played a role in getting the clinic set up in Ames, including Mary Greeley, Story County, the city of Ames, Iowa State University, Story County Medical Center, McFarland Clinic, and Primary Health Care Clinic.
