Mary Greeley Nurse Honor Guard

Honoring a Life of Caring Service

Six Nurse Honor Guard members standing in a line outdoors, dressed in white uniforms with navy blue capes and white hats. The background features trees, greenery, and wooden structures from Mary Greeley's Healing Garden.

The Mary Greeley Nurse Honor Guard offers a heartfelt tribute to nurses who have dedicated their lives to caring for others. This moving ceremony is a meaningful way to recognize a nurse’s lifelong commitment to healing and compassion—and to offer comfort to loved ones during a time of loss.

Volunteer nurses from our community perform a brief ceremony at a nurse’s funeral visitation and/or service. The tribute includes a reading of the Nurse’s Prayer and the symbolic Final Call to Duty, honoring the nurse’s legacy and service.
