Penny Bellville Named Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Mary Greeley Medical Center

AMES, IA – Penny Bellville has been named Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) at Mary Greeley Medical Center effective Sept. 7, 2025. 

This is a new administrative position at Mary Greeley. As the CHRO, Bellville will lead efforts to align workforce strategy with organizational goals, foster a culture of excellence and accountability, and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulatory standards. She will oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, workforce planning, and human resource operations.

Bellville has served as Executive Director of Talent at Mary Greeley since 2023. Prior to this, she served as the medical center’s Director of Human Resources and Education from 2018 to 2023. In this role, she created a Career Pathways framework for professional development and developed advanced systems for performance management and benefits and compliance. 

She received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Iowa State University and her Master of Science-Human Resource Development degree from Villanova University. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources, a Certified Compensation Professional and a Society for Human Resource Management-Senior Certified Professional.
