Bethany Life to Support Mary Greeley Hospice Program

AMES, IA – Under a new agreement, Bethany Life in Story City will support Mary Greeley’s Hospice program.

Mary Greeley is securing two rooms at The Households of Bethany, which will be used for patients needing end-of-life care. This level of care will also be provided at Mary Greeley and through the medical center’s growing home hospice program.

This agreement follows Mary Greeley's recent announcement that Israel Family Hospice House will close December 31, 2025.

“Bethany Life offers a comforting environment for patients and their loved ones, as well as experienced, dedicated staff. We are pleased to be able to offer this option for our hospice patients,” says Eric Adelmund, Director of Mary Greeley’s Home Hospice program.

Care for hospice patients at Bethany Life will be coordinated by staff from both Bethany Life and Mary Greeley.

“We are very excited to further our partnership with Mary Greeley." says Kim Schilling, CEO at Bethany Life. “This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care. We look forward to strengthening the services and support we provide together."
