‘Demystifying Breast Cancer Screening’ Presentation May 7

AMES, IA – Dr. Doug Lake, McFarland Clinic radiologist, will do a presentation on “Demystifying Breast Cancer Screening” on Tuesday, May 7, at 6:30 p.m. in the Ames City Auditorium.

The event is free and open to the public. To register, go to mgmc.org/cancerscreening. Everyone who registers will have an opportunity to do a breast cancer risk assessment.

As a radiologist, Lake has extensive experience in interpreting screening mammography, diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound and breast MRI. He will discuss these methods, as well as breast cancer trends, and resources available to central Iowa women.
