Ballard 4th Grade Class Makes and Donates to Mary Greeley Medical Center

AMES, IA – Mrs. Gingerich’s fourth grade class at Ballard East Elementary recently made and donated fleece blanket to the Pediatric Unit at Mary Greeley Medical Center.

Mrs. Gingerich was looking for a project to help convey the importance of giving back and the student voted to make fleece blankets. She brought in fun patterns and colors of fleece and her student got busy creating the blankets. They had a lot of fun working together, were proud of their achievements and hope to provide a little comfort to other kids.
