Physical Therapy services at Mary Greeley Medical Center works with patients to get them back to work and leisure activities after injury or surgery. Physical therapists can assist those who have functional conditions resulting from back and neck injuries, sprains/strains and fractures, arthritis, burns, amputations, stroke, multiple sclerosis, birth defects and injuries related to work, sports or leisure.
Our staff is highly skilled in the treatment of vestibular (dizziness) issues, work related injuries, women's health (incontinence, pre-natal back pain, pelvic floor pain, lymph edema and osteoporosis) and general orthopedics (foot and ankle, knee, hip, back and shoulder) pain.
Mary Greeley Medical Center provides physical therapy services in a wide variety of locations and settings. The inpatient location primarily serves patients who are hospitalized on our Rehabilitation Center, or some other nursing unit within the hospital. In many instances, physical therapy services are provided at the patient's bedside. This location also provides services to some outpatients, including pediatric, neurological and vestibular (dizziness) patients.
The outpatient physical therapy locations provide services for a wide variety of orthopedic conditions such as back and neck pain, extremity injury and postsurgical conditions (for example, ACL repair or joint replacements). It also provides rehab for neurological conditions, such as post-stroke or other conditions that impact balance or mobility. We also have specialized services for women's health, aquatic therapy, anti-gravity treadmill, work-related injuries and wound care.
