Pain medicine has emerged as a separate specialty that requires advanced training and knowledge. Most patients are treated on an outpatient basis. The pain physician serves as a consultant to other physicians, but is often the primary treating physician. Our physicians and nurses specialize in pain medicine. The Pain Medicine Clinic is located on the first floor of Mary Greeley Medical Center, near the Emergency Department. Hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
