The HOMEWARD Telehealth Program offers clients the Health Buddy®, an easy-to-use device that allows you provide HOMEWARD with important information about your condition-from the comfort of your home.
The Health Buddy plugs into your telephone line and an electrical outlet. Here's how it works:
- You answer a series of simple questions about your health status by pushing one of four buttons.
- Health Buddy silently and automatically dials a toll-free number and sends your information to your HOMEWARD team.
- Health Buddy then provides questions and helpful information for your next session.
- HOMEWARD accesses the information to evaluate your progress and provide you with even better care.
The information collected during your daily Health Buddy sessions is secure and confidential. No one will have access to your data unless they have been authorized by you or your healthcare provider.
