Spiritual Care

To help with the healing process, Mary Greeley Medical Center offers chaplaincy services to patients and their loved ones. If you need someone to talk to or pray with, our chaplains are ready to help.

Chaplains are on duty 24 hours a day at Mary Greeley Medical Center. Chapel services can also be arranged based on individual need. Chaplains visit with people in their hospital rooms. They also visit hospice patients either in a patient’s home or at the Israel Family Hospice House.

Spiritual care visits may be arranged during office hours, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m, by calling 515-239-2502. You may also get in touch with a chaplain by asking any nurse who is caring for you or contacting the hospital operator. At your request, a chaplain will also contact your own minister, rabbi or other spiritual care practitioner.
