Mary Greeley Medical Center Announces 10th Annual Heart Symposium
Ames, Iowa—On Tuesday, February 26th Mary Greeley Medical Center will host its 10th annual heart symposium. The event will be held in Bessie Myers Auditorium and will run from 5-8:30pm.
McFarland Clinic cardiologists Dr. Imran Dotani and Dr. Stuart Christenson will both be giving talks on heart health and a heart healthy meal will be served.
The keynote speaker will be Zonya Foco. As America’s Nutrition Leader, she is a master of inspiration, motivation and visual humor providing hard-facts information and simple solutions that help everyday people improve health, create balance and maximize energy. Zonya is a registered dietitian, professional speaker, television host, author, guest presenter for “Oprah & Bob’s Best Life Challenge,” and nutrition spokesperson for Health Alliance Plan (HAP) of Michigan.
Her presentation that night entitled, ‘Be Good to Your Sweet Heart’, will focus on how to integrate heart-healthy habits into a lifestyle the whole family can enjoy.
Registration is only $12 per person, but space is limited to the first 150 paid registrations. Pre-registration is required and registrations may not be taken over the phone.
