AASM Accredited Sleep Centers have demonstrated a commitment to the highest quality of care in the treatment and diagnosis of sleep disorders. To meet the AASM Standards for Accreditation, sleep medicine providers must demonstrate excellence in patient evaluation and care, physician and staff training, equipment and facilities, emergency procedures and other areas relevant to patient care.
The Sleep Disorders Center staff is specially trained in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders, including sleep-disordered breathing or snoring; daytime sleepiness or insomnia caused by conditions such as sleep apnea or restless legs syndrome; and problems staying awake resulting from conditions such as narcolepsy.
