HOMEWARD Schedules Seasonal Flu Clinics

Ames, Iowa – HOMEWARD Public Health will hold seasonal flu clinics on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in March. The clinics will be held at the HOMEWARD office, located at 1114 Duff Avenue in Ames. Flu and pneumonia vaccinations will be offered to the public. The cost is $10 for the influenza vaccine injection and $30 for the pneumonia vaccine. The high-dose influenza vaccine, recommended for people 65 years and older, is $40. Medicare Part B covers flu and pneumonia vaccinations. Please bring your Medicare B card. For further updates, call the HOMEWARD flu hotline at 515-233-7577.
