Ames , Iowa - Story County Public Health will offer walk-in H1N1 vaccination clinics at the HOMEWARD office, located at 1114 Duff Avenue, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on the following dates:
The vaccinations will be administered to anyone over the age of 6 months. Children ages 9 and younger who received one dose of H1N1 vaccine (mist or shot) will need a second dose. There needs to be at least 28 days between the first and second dose.
Story County Public Health has established a Web site and hot line to keep residents informed. Residents are encouraged to access www.storycounty.com or call the public health hot line at 515-233-7577 for the latest information and updates on both seasonal influenza and H1N1.
