Public H1N1 Vaccination Clinic Scheduled

, Iowa - Story County Public Health will hold a public H1N1 vaccination clinic on Thursday, Oct. 29 from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at Gilbert Middle School. Both the shot and the nasal spray will be available. Until additional shipments are received, these doses will be given only to members of the following subset of priority groups:
- Pregnant women.
- Persons who live with or provide care for infants aged less than 6 months (e.g., parents, siblings, and daycare providers).
- Health care and emergency medical services personnel who have direct contact with patients or infectious material.
- Children aged 6 months to 4 years.
- Children and adolescents aged 5 to 18 years who have medical conditions that put them at higher risk for influenza-related complications.
