H1N1 Vaccination Clinic Scheduled for Dec. 21

Ames , Iowa - HOMEWARD has scheduled an H1N1 vaccination clinic for Monday, Dec. 21. The vaccine will be administered to anyone over the age of 6 months. Children ages 9 and younger who received one dose of H1N1 vaccine (mist or shot) will need a second dose. There needs to be at least 28 days between the first and second dose. There will be no charge for the vaccine.

To make an appointment, call HOMEWARD at 515-233-7519 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Story County Public Health has established a Web site and hot line to keep residents informed. Residents are encouraged to access www.storycounty.com or call the public health hot line at 515-233-7577 for the latest information and updates on both seasonal influenza and H1N1.
