From Cyclone athletes to enthusiastic amateurs

At Mary Greeley Medical Center, we provide outstanding quality care to individuals at every level of physical activity, including athletes from area high schools to college and professional sports teams.

McFarland Clinic board-certified orthopedic surgeons support the Iowa State Cyclone athletic teams as medical consultants. In addition to providing specialized assessment and treatment for sports-related injuries, our clinical specialists are also actively involved in educating the area's athletes, coaches and parents about injury prevention and recognition.

Our sports medicine team, including licensed physical therapists, specialize in the treatment of people with injuries to their bones, muscles, joints, tendons, or ligaments that result from physical activity. Such injuries may include cartilage tears, ligament ruptures of the knee, and shoulder or knee problems.
