Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels volunteers ready to
deliver noon meals.

Every day of the year—including holidays—volunteers with Meals on Wheels deliver a hot, nutritious meal, prepared by the Dietary Department of Mary Greeley Medical Center. Reduced meal rates are available for those in need, and clients are able to pick and choose the number of days and which days meals are delivered, with a minimum order of 3 days each week.

All meals are low salt and low fat, and health requirements, such as diabetic needs and health risks from certain foods, can be accommodated. If severe weather or emergency prevents delivery, announcements will be made on the local radio station, KASI (1430 on your AM radio dial), after 9 a.m. or on KCCI Channel 8 and WHO Channel 13 on TV.
