Golf Tournament

This year marked Mary Greeley Medical Center's eighth annual golf tournament, which raised $16,000 in funding and in-kind support for Grand Rounds, a medical education program. The 2011 event was held on Wednesday, June 29 at the Tournament Club of Iowa in Polk City, with 132 golfers participating.

Congratulations to the Youngberg family, who were the 2011 overall winners.

Hope Run for Hospice

The Hope Run for Hospice is an annual event that raises money for the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. The event includes 10k and 5k runs, a 1-mile non-competitive run, and a kids' run. In 2011 more than 460 participants came out in support of hospice, raising more than $31,000 in funding and in-kind support. More than 140 volunteers and staff helped make this event successful.

2011 Annual Benefit

Almost 300 people enjoyed a night of bidding, big hats and blackjack on Saturday, May 7, as Mary Greeley Medical Center hosted its annual benefit event.

The event raised an incredible $250,000 in funding and in-kind support for the William R. Bliss Cancer Center.
