  • A new power plant will house electrical, steam, hot water and chilled water generation systems and equipment that will support the current and future heating, cooling and energy needs of the medical center.
  • Phase I also will incorporate sustainable, energy efficient and environmentally responsible construction practices, with the goal of achieving LEED Silver certification, which recognizes building sustainability.

Phase II (Expected completion: Winter 2014)
