Based on Chinese martial arts, tai chi is an exercise done slowly with an emphasis on developing internal energy and body awareness. Recent studies have shown that it is also one of the best exercises for improving balance and preventing falls. And, tai chi can also provide balance in your life. It can bring balance to your exercise, to the stress in your life, and your health by decreasing blood pressure and pain and improving your immune system and help with sleeping. Come and learn more about tai chi and some simple qigong exercises that are used in tai chi. Also learn how you can incorporate tai chi into your exercise program and life.
