This course is designed to allow for credentialing as an Iowa EMS Skills evaluator, allowing the participant to evaluate for NREMT examinations, etc.

Registration is limited and you must be preregistered and preapproved in order to attend (no walk-ins will be admitted).

Description

This online course is designed to allow for credentialing as an Iowa EMS Skills evaluator.  Successful completion and subsequent credentialing as an EMS Evaluator allows the participant to evaluate for NREMT examinations, etc. 

This course is part of the system development plan for the West Story County EMS Consortium and members from the agencies in this area (Huxley, Slater, Roland, Gilbert, Kelley, Story City) will receive preferred placement.  Individuals who take this course will be eligible to assist as EMT Skills coaches and will qualify for evaluating candidates for the NREMT EMT practical exams following a supervised session of skills coaching after having attended this online workshop.

This class is subject to cancellation due to low enrollment at which point any registered participants will be notified via email no later than 10/15/2013.
