Safe Sitter® Class Offered August 4 & 5

Ames , Iowa - Mary Greeley Medical Center is offering a Safe Sitter® class on Monday, Aug. 4 & Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the North Addition of the medical center. This class is for adolescents age 11 and older before the date of the course.

Safe Sitter® is a national, medically accurate babysitting training program taught by certified Safe Sitter®-trained instructors. The program is designed to prepare young adolescents for the responsibilities of babysitting with instruction in childcare, first aid and behavior management. Safe Sitter® prepares young adolescents for the responsibilities of nurturing and protecting children through hands-on training with medically trained experts.

The cost for the class is $30. Please contact Mary Greeley Medical Center at 515-239-2038 to register.
