Moms In Motion Aquatic Fitness classes are designed for prenatal women and include gentle stretching, strengthening and cardiovascular exercise.

Fees & Payment

Fees for twice weekly attendance:  $42/month.  Monthly fees will be prorated and/or refunded when baby arrives, or if starting mid-month. 

Description

Moms In Motion is designed for prenatal women and includes gentle stretching, strengthening and mild cardiovascular exercises.  Following guidelines from the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists, Moms In Motion prepares women for the physiological changes associated with pregnancy and develops stamina and strength for labor and delivery.  Class participants enjoy a unique bond exercising with other moms to be.

Location

Our Moms In Motion Aquatic Fitness  classes are held in the lower level of the Medical Arts Building, 1015 Duff Avenue, in our warm water therapy pool.  

Date and Times

Mondays and Wednesdays 6:30-7:15pm
Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:00-5:45pm

    This class provides the attendee with an explanation of services provided at MGMC Birthways and a walking tour of our facility and the Birthways Unit.

    The EMT Course emphasizes the development of student skills in patient assessment and examination, the recognition of signs and symptoms of illness and injury, and proper procedures when rendering emergency medical care.

  • Breastfeeding Class

    Information about what to expect during the beginning days of breastfeeding will be discussed to help make breastfeeding a positive experience. Current information on breast feeding will be presented.
