At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

1)    Select a dementia monitoring tool

2)    Offer their patient treatment options

3)    Distinguish normal cognitive decline from dementing diseases

Professional practice gap to be addressed: Cognition problems in aging are common and this review will describe dementing conditions, their pathophysiology, possible treatment and measurement tools.
