Description

Courage in Motion is your pathway to hope and health. It was designed with Michelle Flattery, a cancer survivor. In one-hour weekly meetings, Courage in Motion participants will share stories and exercise together. Exercise sessions include indoor cycling, Pilates, aqua fitness, and yoga.

This 12-week program is available at no charge and allows you to utilize Ames Racquet and Fitness facilities while enrolled.

  • Childbirth Education One Day Class (Saturday)

    An accelerated childbirth class for parents on the go. . Topics include: labor, delivery, breathing and relaxation tecniques, medications, epidurals, and medical procedures. A hospital tour is part of this class.

  • 4/23/14 - AARP Smart Driving

    This one-day presentation covers driver's safety. Learn about the normal changes of aging and the effects it may have on driving. Cost is $15 for AARP members and $20 for all others (make checks payable to AARP) and may entitle participants to an insurance premium discount.

  • 04/23/2014 - Clinical Pearls: Ophthalmology

    This talk will cover when to image a patient, when to refer a patient, and review how the eye can reflect general health.

  • Birthways Tour (OB)

    This class provides the attendee with an explanation of services provided at MGMC Birthways and a walking tour of our facility and the Birthways Unit.

  • Sibling Class (Big Brother/Big Sister) Age 4 and Up

    This class is for siblings, age four and up, to prepare for the arrival of the new baby. (We recommend registering for this class one month before mom's due date.)
