Increase your knowledge of well living and developing healthy lifestyles with a focus toward prevention and healthy management of diabetes.

Don’t miss featured speaker Dr. Brian Wansink who is the Professor of Consumer Behavior at Cornell University, where he directs the Cornell Food and Brand Lab. He is also the author of over 100 academic articles and books, including the best-seller "Mindless Eating: Why We Eat More Than We Think."

Also speaking is Dr. Robert Bender, medical director of the Healthy Aging and Memory Clinic in Des Moines, Iowa who specializes in geriatric care and medicine.

McFarland Clinic Endocrinologist Dr. Rami Almokayyad will share information on pre-diabetes and its prevalence. And Cardiologist Dr. Stuart Christenson will speak about the importance of keeping our heart healthy and the role of glucose management on our heart.

    An accelerated childbirth class for parents on the go. . Topics include: labor, delivery, breathing and relaxation tecniques, medications, epidurals, and medical procedures. This class does include a hospital Tour.

  • Safe Sitter Class - Aug. 4 & 5, 2014

    Safe SitterĀ® is a national, medically accurate babysitting training program taught by certified Safe SitterĀ®-trained instructors. The 2-day program is designed to prepare young adolescents for the responsibilities of babysitting.
