Description

At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

1)    implement new diagnostic strategies for psychiatric disorders into medical    practice.

2)    recognize health anxiety and its implications for medical care.

3)    eliminate dichotomous thinking about psychiatric disorders.

Professional practice gap to be addressed: Limited knowledge about recent developments regarding health, anxiety, and somatic symptom problems, including fundamental changes in these and as contained in DSM-5.

Target audience: Physicians, mid-level providers, nurses, health care administrators

  • 04/23/2014 - Clinical Pearls: Ophthalmology

    This talk will cover when to image a patient, when to refer a patient, and review how the eye can reflect general health.
