Description

At the conclusion of the activity, learners will be able to:

1)   Describe the antenatal goals and management involved in the care of a pregestational diabetic during pregnancy.

2)   Describe the antenatal goals and management involved in the care of a pregnant patient with chronic hypertension.

3)   Describe the antenatal goals and management of other medical conditions involved in the care of a pregnant patient.

Professional practice gap that will be addressed: Provide consistency of care recommendations to pregnant patients between obstetric providers and the primary medical caregivers.

Target audience: Physicians, mid-level providers, nurses
