At the conclusion of the program, participants will be able to:
1) To understand the concept of asymptomatic bacteriuria, and its natural course in different populations
2) To identify key opportunities for reducing antibiotic overuse and test wasting in UTI and in asymptomatic bacteriuria
3) To understand the limitations and challenges of evidenced-based UTI management
Overall goal: Improving the performance of management of UTI and asymptomatic bacteriuria by adopting standards of care that are not widely known to the medical staff or that are known but not applied due to lack of understanding of the rationale and the strength of the recommendation.
