Breastfeeding is your baby’s best start. Bring your baby to our Breastfeeding Support Group to share and learn in a friendly supportive atmosphere.

Registration is not required.

Fees & Payment

There is no charge for the group. Feel free to bring a beverage and a snack.

Description

Breastfeeding Support GroupWhat can I expect?

Each group is facilitated by a breastfeeding specialist. You will have the opportunity to weigh your baby, hear what is working for other mothers, receive information and support, and make connections.

 

When does it meet?

The group meets the third Thursday of every month from 1:30-3 p.m. Dates with an asterisk denote that the group meets on a day that is not the third Thursday.

    The provider will be able to use the acquired knowledge gained to impact practice and also to identify and help correct deficits.

    Information about what to expect during the beginning days of breastfeeding will be discussed to help make breastfeeding a positive experience. Current information on breast feeding will be presented.
