Description

At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

1)    Question skin lesions that should be biopsied

2)    Understand which skin cancers need further treatment and what factors make a high risk tumor

3)    Identify patient groups at high risk for skin cancer

Professional practice gap to be addressed: Help to understand the need to identify patient groups at high risk for skin cancer and perform screening for those groups. To understand skin cancer isn't always a low grade malignancy that can be purposefully overlooked.

Overall goal: Assisting in knowledge base to enable one to make proper decisions regarding evaluation and management of skin cancers.

Target audience: Physicians, mid-level providers, nurses
