This activity will help bridge the practice gap that some providers may have in regards to understanding some of the more recent GI guidelines that have been published.

Description

At the conclusion of the activity, learners will be able to:

1)      Discuss how to approach several common scenarios in the pre-procedural assessment of a patient requiring an endoscopic evaluation

2)      Apply key points from recent gastroenterology guidelines into clinical practice

3)      Reiterate one clinical pearl from each clinical case presented that can be directly applied to their practice

Professional practice gap to be addressed: This activity will help bridge the practice gap that some providers may have in regards to understanding some of the more recent GI guidelines that have been published.

Target audience: Physicians, mid-level providers, nurses
