Description

At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

1)    diagnose patients with thoracic and thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms

2)    identify indications for surgery

3)    understand the surgical techniques involved with treating thoracic and       thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms

Professional practice gap to be addressed: Aortic disease is underestimated too often partly because of the perceived high risk of surgery. Modern surgery techniques can be safe and effective, and utilized earlier.

    An accelerated childbirth class for parents on the go. . Topics include: labor, delivery, breathing and relaxation tecniques, medications, epidurals, and medical procedures. This class does include a hospital Tour.
