All medical providers are expected to understand the nature of sports injuries because they occur in family, friends, teammates, patients. This presentation will give tools to understand these injuries.

Description

At the conclusion of the activity, learners will be able to:

1)    understand relative severity of a variety of sports injuries

2)    recognize factors that will determine speed of recovery

3)    better understand detailed patho-anatomy of several sports injuries

    An accelerated childbirth class for parents on the go. . Topics include: labor, delivery, breathing and relaxation tecniques, medications, epidurals, and medical procedures. A hospital tour is part of this class.

  • 4/23/14 - AARP Smart Driving

    This one-day presentation covers driver's safety. Learn about the normal changes of aging and the effects it may have on driving. Cost is $15 for AARP members and $20 for all others (make checks payable to AARP) and may entitle participants to an insurance premium discount.
