Effective therapy of hypertension in general practice remains elusive. Control rates in the hypertension clinic at Mayo Clinic are very high. Information will be provided to narrow that gap.

At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

1)    review current treatment goals for systolic and diastolic blood pressure.

2)    contemplate if there is one "best" drug for hypertension....should you be looking for this Holy Grail?

3)    understand if starting combination therapy is important based on evidence.

    An accelerated childbirth class for parents on the go. . Topics include: labor, delivery, breathing and relaxation tecniques, medications, epidurals, and medical procedures. This class does include a hospital Tour.
