Current Volunteer Openings

Adult Openings

We are currently accepting applications in the following volunteer assignment only:

• Meals on Wheels
  Days/Times Needed:  11:30 a.m. start, typically shifts last 1-1.5 hours, seven days a week except for Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
• Hospice 
  Required training classes are scheduled for Saturday, January 14 and 21 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  Days/Times Neeeded: Varied for patient support opportunities. Israel Family Hospice House shifts are 9 a.m.-1 p.m., 1-5 p.m., 5-9 p.m., Sunday - Saturday.
• Sterile Processing Department Support
  Days/Times Needed:  2 to 3 hour shifts available from 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Interested volunteers can submit an application online. We will set up a brief interview to discuss opportunities, scheduling, and complete the required paperwork. Volunteers will be trained for their assignment, and soon be giving back to those in need.

Youth Openings

Giving back to our communities can start at a young age! Youth volunteers can begin learning the importance of service and building skills for employment, education, and future service.

Volunteer opportunities for youth, ages 12-18, are available during the summer.  Please check back in April for details about volunteering in the summer of 2012.
