Adult Openings

• Hospice
  Days/Times Needed: Varied for patient support opportunities.
  Israel Family Hospice House shifts are from 9 AM to 1 PM, 1 PM to 5 PM, and 5 PM to 9 PM daily. 
  
• Meals on Wheels
  Days/Times Needed: Regular routes and substitutes are needed seven days/week
  One to two hour shifts starting at 11:30 AM
• Information Desk: Intensive and Coronary Care Unit (ICCU) Desk
  Days/Times Needed: Tuesdays, 8 AM to Noon; Wednesdays and Fridays, 4 to 6 PM
• North Addition Conference Desk
  Days/Times Needed:  Tuesdays, 8 AM to 12:30 PM
• Front Information Desk (substitutes and weekend shifts available)
  Days/Times Needed: Substitutes are needed on an as needed basis Monday-Friday, permanent positions available Saturdays, 9 to 11 AM and 2 to 5 PM
• Sterile Processing Department (SPD) Support Volunteer
  Days/Times Needed: 2 to 3 hour shifts available 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday
• Diabetes and Nutrition Education Center
  Days/Times Needed: 3-4 hour shifts available Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM on an as needed basis

Interested volunteers can submit an application online. We will set up a brief interview to discuss opportunities, scheduling, and complete the required paperwork. Volunteers will be trained for their assignment, and soon be giving back to those in need.

Youth Openings

Giving back to our communities can start at a young age! Youth volunteers can begin learning the importance of service and building skills for employment, education, and future service.

We are pleased to once again offer summer volunteer opportunities for youth, ages 12 and older in the following areas at MGMC:

• Valet Concierge Assistants: must be 12 years old or completed 6th grade
• Front Desk Assistants: must be 15 years old or completed 9th grade
• External Relations Office Assistant: must be 15 years old or completed 9th grade
• Gift Shop Assistants: must be 15 years old or completed 9th grade

To volunteer, youth must complete an application, have an interview, attend an orientation session, commit to a minimum number of shifts depending upon area of service, adhere to the Mary Greeley Medical Center policies and procedures and be ready to serve with a smile!

A youth volunteer orientation session is scheduled for Tuesday, June 8 at 4:30 p.m. in the South Auditorium.
